I’m Denise Jenison and I’ve been a book addict for as long as I can remember. My dream is to one day have a dedicated library room in my house, but in the meantime, I just keep acquiring and filling bookcases on an ad hoc basis. After roughly 10 years of grad school reading, I’ve jumped back into fiction. I like a fairly wide range of genres, including contemporary fiction, historical fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, some thriller/horror, some noir, some YA, classics, and I’ll even go back to non-fiction from time to time. As a Star Trek fan, I try to apply the Vulcan creed of ‘Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations’ to my shelves, whether that’s genre, geography, time period, race, religion, ethnicities, gender, sexuality, etc. etc. etc.
My to-be-read (TBR) list will never shrink, for, like the hydra, as soon as one book is removed from the list, two more take its place. So if you have any suggestions, throw them in the comments and if you’re a publisher or author who wants to send me a book to review, contact me at worldsbetweenwords@gmail.com.
I also have a photography/hiking blog at wanderingdryadphotography.com. Please enjoy that as well!
